Vias Astrum v97 Playtest Update
The update for Via Astrum has been a long while coming. The changelog for v97 is listed below. There are a lot of changes ranging from character to gear to the xenobestiary.

- Added Aristocrat adolescent background.
- Added “Any” to Mercenary Military career entry.
- Added Colonist Adolescent background.
- Added Belter career.
- Added Mining Gig ship.
- Added Veterinary skill.
- Added some granularity to first aid kits, now termed Medkits.
- Added additional gear
- Added Explorer vehicle. Think moon rover.
- Fixed a typo in the aging table.
- Slightly adjusted FAM gains on major medals.
- Added Dilettante career.
- Added Total Defense combat move.
- Added Primitive armors.
- Added low tech weapons (pistol and rifle, flintlocks)
- Expanded Wound table.
- Changed Mercenary to Mercenary/Independent.
- Added race creation to chapter 17.

- Added hirelings and services to chapter 9.
- Finished Appendix P and updated to include Aristocrat and Dilettante.
- Reduced the ship structures to 1/10 for military and 1/20 for civilian.
- Finished verifying stats on Xenobestiary.
